Stumbled across these three while in Hattiesburg, Mississippi

RF-101C as 56217
T-33 as 52595
RF-84 as 37636

The three are at the Hattiesburg airport as part of the George R. Hall Air Park. Hall, from the local area, was shot down near Hanoi in 1965 flying a RF-101 and survived as a POW.

I always thought the RF noses were of interest. Sorry for the cell phone pictures.

All three look complete on the exterior, but in rough shape, with the 84 looking the worst. Layers of (house?) paint, badly worn. Serials, and most roundels are all in decals that are flaking off.

Fortunately there are more like these sitting around the country. Unfortunately they are in the same or worse condition than these.

Unfortunately, AFM ownership may be the only thing preventing a lot of display aircraft from being scrapped.

Any chance that these were the planes that were once gate guards at Bergstrom AFB, Austin TX?
