I admire the great quality of dialogue here, and I hope my request is met with interest. I am trying to determine which c-47 of the 61st TCS in which my great uncle jumped on D-Day. I am designing a display case for some of his personals and military attire. My intent of the display case is to mirror the attributes of the plane he flew in. I will be adding Q9 to the design and was hoping to apply the "right" chalk number and list the crew on the side of the display case.

Information found on 6Juine1944 and the Turf and Sport information has been very helpful. My great uncle (Francis Niemiec F Company 2/508th) likely flew on a plane within Chalk range 28-36.

Any guidance or coaching would be greatly appreciated.
