I went out to Turkey strip and found the rare Az Photo Cougar and capured the beast on film, and I can confirm it is related to the Grumman iron work family, but the troubling part is , there is no propeller on the front to keep the pilot cool. So it is proof that evalution is a fact.
If someone wants to post the photos for me, I will email them. I also have some photos of the Buckeye Invader.

I'd love to know who was in charge of the Buckeye airstrip back during the early 1950's. Any chance any of the old hands around there have a clue?

A friend and I went by Buckeye around 93 taking photos of the A-26. We were told that the plane was grounded with a broken wing spar. Anyone with knowledge if this is true?

I don't know about the broken spar, but the cockpit is gutted and someone has cut out the pilots yoke. The lt engine was sitting for many yrs with no sparkplugs installed.
