I have just created a photo album to feature the aircraft of Vintage Wings of Canada (Michael Potter).

You can find it at...
http://community.webshots.com/album/549742440sWoaHR

You will also be able to find it listed on my "Feature" albums page...

Regards,

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Thanks for posting those photos Mike!

What a spectacular facility to complement an impressive fleet. Looks like things are coming together in a methodical manner for VWC.

Hurricane must be on its way??

Cheers
Al.

They say it will be flying this summer, but they didn't say what part. I would guess June would be optimisitc.

Any hope that it will make a showing for Thunder? I hope so. Even better would be Geneseo

I received an email this morning from one of the pilots saying it would be sometime this summer, but he didn't say when this summer. The last I heard from higher up in their ranks is that it would likely be flying this summer, but they were doubtful they would be taking it to any shows. I believe they want to build pilot proficiency on it with at least more than one pilot before going to shows. I would GUESS that we won't be seeing it tour this summer. HOWEVER... They do plan to advertise some flydays where you can come out to the fence at the hanger and watch the flight ops, and the Hurri would likely be part of that. Don't get your hopes up for the Hurri at Geneseo or Thunder. They like to crawl before they walk so-to-speak.

As for the Spit and Mustang... I think it would be a good bet you will be seeing them at Thunder and I ASSUME Geneseo (based on a conversation I had last January). I certainly can't speak for VWoC. I'll pass on what I can when I can.
