Ever wonder how many F-80s were written off in accidents?

Yes sir, barely. The last flights to the boneyard were in mid January, 1970. The drawdown was quick, with most going to the boneyard in November and December 1969, and a few straggling into January 1970. Most were scrapped @1979.
