I am woundering if anyone has any information on the Chief Oshkosh.
She was in the Pacific fleet and my Grandfather was a tail/turret gunner on her. I have a couple of pictures of him working on her.
Looks like it is in the Phillipeens or somewhere in that area. I know he was stationed there for a while during the war. About the only thing I know of her is that the reason they named her the Chief Oshkosh was because everyone on the crew was from the Fox River Valley here in Wisconsin and they all like to drink Chief Oshkosh beer.
Honestly that's the way I heard it.

If someone might now what model B-25 she is or has other pictures that would be great.

Thanks
