DryMartini "Desert Rat" claims that there's a B-17C being restored somewhere in Ill"anoids". Has anyone else heard of, or seen, this project?

Dik was asking about a "C" model that one of the Desert Rat (an E Model) people had mentioned in another post.

(Yes the Desert Rat is an E model and the XC model, but they mentioned some other "C" model.)
