Hi All,

Temps are heading into the mid-to-upper 90's here for the weekend; heat index will be over 100. With little shade, lots of pavement, and miles of walking it's going to get nasty. Dress smart, hydrate, and leave the little ones and elderly at home in the AC.

This happened a couple of years ago; had one older gentlman collapse right in front of me. He had heat stroke so bad he wasn't even sweating anymore.

I already warned my wife and my two boys that I have no intentions of sitting out the airshow on Friday in the first aid station with I.V.'s in their arms.

I think I'll go back to my old Army days and demand that they drink a bottle of water every hour right in front of me so I can be sure they're hydrated.

John
