All--
I was messing around on YouTube and put in FW-190 just for giggles. This is one of the things I found...

Some of the comments at the bottom said that the aircraft's been recovered. Any ideas on where it is now? The posts mentioned the Karelian isthmus...a new one on me.
Still, can you imagine walking in the woods and seeing THAT????

I think this is the 190 that Doug Arnold recovered. I remember being in Moscow and seeing still photos of it taken about 30 days before I arrived, I think it was 1990. Doug had it removed and shipped before anyone else could even think of going to look at it. This is the first video I've seen of the plane, as found. Of all the cool stuff that has come out of the former SU, this is one of the best finds. Dave, is this the one I'm thinking of?

That's the one Al. Presently in transit to Seattle for Paul Allen after rebuild of the airframe in the UK.
