Building replicia cockpits or mockups

Im thinking about building a replicia mockup /pit for myself.

Since i collect parts and warbirds and flightgear im thinking a 1950s fighter like a sabre could be a idea.

Problem is parts

ejection seat
canopy glass/frame

and some dials

what do people think?

Sounds like a cool project! You two main ingredients you'll need for success though are time and money.

There's been a F86 cockpit for sale on Barnstormers for a while. I think it is still listed.

a canopy will be the most difficult aspect if you have to scratch build it, especially a bubble canopy!!
