This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

A few years ago us-aircraft.com was witness to a comprehensive study on the U.S. aircraft present during the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Many a historian frequented the us-aircraft.com message boards and much information was exchanged between historians and amateurs alike! I must also include that the attack on Pearl Harbor has been my most interested subject and there is always much to learn and find out from that day. Most of my interest is towards the wide variety of aircraft present during the attack and to those aircraft that got airborne to fight and local the Japanese Imperial Fleet. Below is a list from us-aircraft.com created by a fellow poster by the name of Rich Leonard who studies quit a bit on U.S. Naval aviation. In fact I would have to say that most of the historians on us-aircraft.com were more Naval researchers then say Army or Airforce researchers. Anyway without further due here is a list of aircraft present during the attack and some are explained in further detail.
