Great stuff Dave! How do you convert the film to digital?

Dave - some great memories there, thanks for sharing.

Mike - I had some 8mm film converted last year (more Windsor Airshow 1974 footage) and creativescrapbooking.com did a good job. They have a process that individually scans each frame of the 8mm so well that it looks like a good film scan of the frame (nice sharp grain, etc.). They offer a discounted price if you want to try them for one roll through their listings on ebay under the username cvsprofessionals. A number of other vendors offer a similar service. It is easy to get a good transfer now for a fraction of what it cost to have a crappy one done just five years ago.

Hey Mike.

Like August I had a company in Cambridge do the transfer of Mr. Arnolds film and the film of the last flight of Spitfire NH188. It wasn't too much $ to have it converted to DVD.

Cheers Dave C
