Incredible..they've made major progress on several projects since I visited in July of '04!

Will they strip the paint off the plexiglass on the PBM once it's displayed indoors? I hate it when museums paint the canopies on aircraft (I understand that sometimes it's necessary, but it still makes the planes look "toy-like.")

Would have loved to have seen and heard a B-36 fly...6 turnin and 4 burnin! Now that's rock and roll :D Anybody know what is left of the Big Stick in Walter Soplata's collection? Any recent pix? Enough left for maybe a static display?

I love the B-36 pics and am amazed at how large their restoration operation is down there. I think it's time to start planning a long road trip!
