DD 2535 Submission Goes Online

From today's ICAS Fast Facts:

DD 2535 Submission Goes Online

The U.S. Air Force Aerial Events launched a redesigned website that allows all requestors to submit and track the DD Form 2535 online. The new system is a functional web-based database that incorporates all pertinent information for approved events and accurately tracks the status of the various levels of event and participation approval. The single greatest improvement to the site is the ability to submit the 2535 directly online. Although there will still be a requirement for a signed form that will need to be sent via fax to the FAA and the Air Force, the new process will greatly reduce the timeliness of submissions and responses and will allow for more accurate requests. Additionally, requestors will be able to save and duplicate their own requests on the new system, saving them time and effort. A new customer service feature will also better assist requestors to search for aircraft types and locations. For 2007, all requests for aviation support must be submitted electronically using the new system. All 2007 data currently in the system has been migrated into the web-based process.
