Thanks Mudge, think of the guts it takes to take off from a carrier in the Atlantic in poor weather for combat in one of those. QG Aviation in Colorado, Ray Middleton, Tim Fries has maintained my Spitfire since I have owned it. They are rebuilding, static only, a Swordfish for the CAF, I believe.I was surprised that the wings are metal,not wood. That plane sure gave a lot of bang for the buck.
