Can anyone tell me about the Grumman Avengers used
in the 1977 UFO film Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
In particular I'm looking for BuNo.'s, owners etc.

One was the CAF's, with #82 on the cowl and another was actually an F6F Hellcat only used in the headon view.

there was an avenger at sea world ohio that was part of the bermuda triangle display. they really creeped it out, & it looked cool too. that 1 was donated some where?? any ohioans recall??
