Found Emerson A-15 on Ebay. Didn't know if anyone on here was looking for one.

I saw that as well...the last time I looked there were no bidders which surprised me. Of course, there's a reserve on it so who knows how much the seller really wants for it (it started at $100).

Wow, that wild. I was just at a Model Airplane meeting at Gillespie Field and noticed that the SDASM just got some B-24 parts! That turret would help in getting the nose started for display. I will pass this on to them.

BTW, they got the parts from the same person that Pete got his ball items from. :?

I hope it took them less than 2 1/2 months to receive their stuff. :?

Well, considering it was only about 25 miles away, I think they might have gotten their stuff a bit sooner!

They got a Privateer Nose and Tail and parts to a wrecked '24. The '24 parts consist of the nose from the instrument panel forward, some waist sections, engines with bent props with some cowlings, full of bullet holes and other misc items. The Museum is hoping to at least make a nose display of the junk or trade it for other stuff.

I told them they shoud clean up the waist window, stick a dummy .50 in it and let folks their pic behind it at the museum.

Wish I would have taken my camera, but I will next time!

Thanks for the update Jesse. I wonder if these are the items that Gary was trying to get for Lil while Ed was jerking hi around?

Might be, the stuff is pretty banged up, but can be used. If he is trying to get it, he can talk to the Museum folks now since apparently your buddy is moving to Colorado.

I spoke a bit to one of the museum curators and they are hoping to make a decent display nose, but are willing to trade stuff for it. I can find out more if someone needs me to.
