Quantas 707 for Setter

Wed Sep 08, 2004 11:04 pm

This one's for you, John. We have a real pretty 707 parked on the ramp here in Bangor tonight(John Travolta's?). It's all painted up as, oh, a 1960's Quantas bird. She's one sharp looking airplane. 8)

Hi Don

Yes that would be John Travolta's beast - it is in fact an ex QANTAS bird and he has an arrangement with QANTAS to act as an "ambassador" for the airline and does his 747 and 707 training and certification with them here every year - the machine has been to Brisbane a few times and he is a very popular person here in Aus

Thanks for that Don I appreciate it.

Regards
John P
