Go to this page to find the links to the albums...

...and look for the dates "31 March 2007" and "3 April 2007".

The major addition to the VWC photo collection is in the Visitors section. George Neal, former deHavilland Canada test pilot, visited the hangar. Michael Potter gave Mr. Neal a tour ending with an inspection of the Beaver. I managed to photograph a few smiles and a couple of big grins while he was sitting in the Spit.

I will also have a new album for the Ottawa Flying Club's Grass Roots day. Not many pictures as they did not want to let people out to see the planes (security issues is the polite term), but they will be up soon anyway. Look for them at the top of the Travelogue page either later toinight or tomorrow.

Looks like it was a great time Mike. I have had the pleasure of meeting George a few times over the years an he always has some great stories to tell.

Cheers,

Eric

Mr. Potter is more, "mature", than most people expect but young at heart, and a super nice guy as well. We are so lucky he is building a collection with the objective of presenting/sharing it as much as possible. BTW... they will be out in force at Geneseo this year, so you have something to look forward to.
