No idea on this one... that Wk.Nr. doesn't tally with any I have been able to find. Did it come with a spare DB engine, as it appears to have in your photos? Very interesting, and many thanks for posting.

Hi Richard, Yes thats a spare DB! She's sporting tags all over, can I look somewhere else for further ID. I thought the works # was important info?..........John

It sounds like a real Werk Nummer, but I couldn't find it on the list of surviving 109s on preservedaxisaircraft.com.

It's a rebuilt Buchon, formerly with EADS.

EADS is European Aeronautic Defense and Space company. Numerous mergers of companies which Messeschmitt is now part of.
Messerschmitt AG/Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm/DASA/EADS.

It was rebuild by Arthur Williams in the seventies by using a Spanish Hispano build airframe. First flown in 1982 but crashed 1983. Since then stored elsewhere.
