This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

But as stated in the eloquent description, there is only "one" comb and it irritates the Japanese. FM-2's, B-25's and Sea Furies are a dime a dozen.

Man, this one has BS written all over it. A seller with no feedback selling an unverifiable item with no real value to speak of for $880,000?! For that much money, it should include the rest of the wrecked plane.

No bids and no watchers. Hahahahaha!

Too funny. And what an ass for selling something like that.
He says if the item is damaged during shipping that he would return a full refund!

I wonder what it feels like to brush your hair with $880,000!

I also saw this auction while I was surfing on ebay late last week. You'd be amazed at some of the worthless crap people try to sell for 5 or 6 digit sums.

If you've never tried it, just do a search under "highest $ first" and see what junk these snake-oil-salesmen are trying to push. Fake militaria items are a cottage industry on ebay which is why I stopped buying most of that stuff years ago. It's like one of the other WIXer's said on another forum...ebay has turned into the wordwide garage sale!

This completes my collection along with a Amelia's shoe and my title to the B-32 on the moon!
Now I have to find Big Foot and put him on American Idol!

Jerry,
It's only worth $100,000 if that wooden elephant stood for the strength and determination of the Thai people, and that while it was a tree, that it thwarted Japanese attacks by covering the location of many of the local people.
If that were the case then I'd be willing to pay upwards of $100,000 for it. Mind you, your grammar and spelling are too good, so I don't think that I would believe that all of those things happened.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA....
Cheers,
David
