The EVG B-17G is painted has a 490th BG ship.
Mike Smith was set to add the "Carolina Moon: nose art to it
(his wife was Caroline). After he was killed
that plan went down the tube.

So Bills idea of Hook em on one side and Gig em on the other has allready been done. Didn't know Bill was around back then, otherwise where did he get the idea to paint Lil like that. Personally I would have liked to see the Gig em on the Port side, but I guess the Hook em looks OK.
