This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Fellow WIXer Dave Hackett was in PVD yesterday for a bit, so we ran over to Quonset to check things out....Sadly, when we arrived, a note on the door said that they were closed due to lack of a volunteer.....Dave snapped a few photos of what's on display outside, but due to the slats in the fencing, we had to call my trusty Jeep into service!
Next time, Dave!

So wait, you fly and you are a Jeep girl? If I wasn't already married...... I bought my 2005 Wrangler brand new, and have had a ton of fun with it.

Honestly, there's nothing special about this ol' wrong-side-of-40 gal!

I am on the wrong side of twenty if that means anything.

I woke up last November and found myself on the wrong side of
50 !! How did
that happen ?
Beachgirl, never would have figued it, you look much younger when you're wearing that T-6 !
Thu Apr 12, 2007 11:59 am
I was! By nearly 5 years! That was a photo from my "first time" -- T-6 flight, that is! Dang this aviation stuff is addicting, huh? Now, if only I had a T-6 to wear every day!

That's so funny... the picture that is... I am test driving that EXACT same Liberty... color, features, everything! We'll have the same car!
Do you like it? Treating ya well? As reliable as a T-6?

Thanks again BG! Too bad the museum was closed, but I guess there is always a next time. The tour of your "little" state was great, and will definitely have to come back when they get all the boats on the water.

I have the same color Liberty in the Renegade version with all the bells & whistles. So I guess that makes me a cool guy?

Ryan, I LOVE my Liberty! It's been really good to me so far.....We're Liberty women in my family -- I have one, my mom has one, and my sister-in-law has one....... and "touch wood," not one of us has had a problem with them! And, unlike a T-6, no oil drips to clean off after running it!
Yes, Robbie, you're a cool guy!
Dave, I ALMOST wish the sale of the 38 had fallen through so that I could show you RI from the "water" side next time! It made a great airshow-viewing platform for the Quonset show, and as I mentioned, no annoying announcer!
