F-22 Raptor

Sat Apr 21, 2007 4:00 pm

I know we all like the old roaring warbirds, but I thought you might like to see the premier US fighter too. These were taken at Point Mugu on April 1, 2007. Because of the popularity of the pictures of the F-22 in the section for the show, I added a second page.

Anybody else want to add some Raptor shots?

Thanks, Neal! The weather was great until the late afternoon, when the marine layer started rolling back in.

Beautiful pics! 8) I showed these pics to my 12 year old son who is Raptor "nut" and he just loved them. He's counting down the days until EAA Airventure so he can finally see one for the first time up close.

Thanks everyone. The Raptor is a great plane to watch do the demos that they are doing so far. The addition of the open weapons bay was a nice add! You are going to love seeing it at OshKosh.

OUTSTANDING!

The Raptor is an awesome fighting machine with no equal anywhere on the planet. Wicked!

Cheers!

If "vg" stands for "Very Good" may I suggest you change the name to "EP"?

Excellent pictures!!!
