That "Scooter's Shooter" is a 157th SCANG jet...I remember seeing it at Al Udeid AB during "Shock N Awe".

My favorites were the FB111's. I heard that most of them had nose art at that time. I wish I had the opportunity to see more of them but by 1990 they were probably on the way out. I believe they were based at Pease in NH.

Those are great! Thanks for posting. I love stuff like that. My Dad's P-51 in WWII was named "Stinky", after my older brother, who was a baby at the time. There was no nose art that I know of, & I don't think it would have been a pretty site anyway.

They were flown out of Pease AFB and if I real correctly, they were moved to Plattsburgh AFB before that base was also closed and the Vark was retired. I remember seeing them at Pease and then Griffuss AFB. Man those were the days!

Several B-52 nose art sections (12?) that have been cut off the aircraft when scrapped are on display at the NMUSAF.

Does anyone have a shot of the B-52 "Betty Boop"?
