Photos: Can You help ID them

Fri May 04, 2007 8:16 pm

Here are a couple misc. photos I've acquired. Can you help ID them???

Image
What is this aircraft? (Notice the dive breaks and outward facing tires) Where/when was this exposition? What is the high-winged in the background? Long shot, but can anyone ID the tail in the foreground?

Image
I ran across this in an antique mall here in dallas. It looks like an early (1910's, 1920's?) aviator. Anyone famous?

Where is this B-18? (Notice checkerboard hangar) Unit?

I know these may be long shot questions, but you never know who knows what, and you guys never cease to amaze me. :D
Thanks!!

In the first photo is a Northrop A-17A light attack aircraft.

The tail in the foreground looks like a P-26.
