So there I was...

We just departed Camarillo in Tondelayo, I'm in the left seat trucking along towards Burbank and a blip pops up on TCAS from our 6 O'clock and catching us fast. The POF P-40 slides by looking pretty spectacular...breaks left and heads toward CMA. Of course my camera was in the nose tunnel...

The P-40 was flying to CMA for our CAF SoCalWing event on Saturday. We had the unveiling of our PBJ restoration crewmember and artist Thomas Van Stein's painting of two AVG P-40's attacking a Zero in China. Afterwards, we had a very impressive Fly-By of the P-40 and our A6M3 Zero...in addition to our Hellcat and Dave Price's P-51. Pictures from Dan and Eric will follow.

By the way JimH...I had a fantastic flight in Tondelayo on Thursday afternoon!
