Not too bad for a cheap 110 instamatic camera. They sure look a lot better than the one's I took in the late 70's...but then again I was just a dumb kid back in those days.

The Jug was one of Tallichets that later went overseas to Doug Arnold and is now "Big Chief" with Bob Pond in Palm Springs.

That's so cool. 1973 was my first year at Oshkosh and I too had a 110 instamatic. The Tri-Motor ride was 5 bucks I think. If I remember right the P-47 was flown by Randy Sohn. As far as ID'ing the owners of the warbirds, Sport Aviation listed all types, N-Numbers and owners with addresses back then. Wish they still did that. I'll have to go up to the attic and dig that out.

Very Cool,
My first Oskosh Pictures were about a half dozen shots of Paul 1 taken in the mid 80s with a DISK camera, my how times have changed.
FYI~ The Corsair is the the FG-1D now at Palm Springs Air Museum (also the mount for my 1 and only Corsair ride) and was at the time owned by Jon Stokes...

That Corsair was the first one I ever saw in Real Life. It was at Selfridge AFB in 1977, back when Black Sheep was our favorite TV show. My freinds and I were totally stoked to see a Corsair in person. I know one TV birds had the Bunker Hill "Arrows." Was it the same plane as "167?"

T J....Just a guess, could that be Bob Love's Mustang? His, as I remember, was a light gray...could be a little color fade or a bit of off balance color after all these years...just a thought.

The white P-51 behind the Byram airplane looks to me to be painted in the original CAF house colors. Could it be "Old Red Nose" per chance?

That's the same Corsair Steve. As popular and attractive as the USS Bunker Hill paint scheme has been, it's amazing that it's only been applied to one Corsair in all these years.
