Grumman J2F Duck ID Plate

Thu May 10, 2007 5:13 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to obtain the MSN or Construction Number
for Fantasy Of Flights Grumman J2F Duck N1214N.

Paul Stecewycz, a mechanic at Fantasy Of Flight
has looked all over the aircraft for me but cannot locate
the ID plate that would have the MSN stamped on it.
Anyone out there able to offer a solution?

Thank you
Simon Beck

Interestingly the Warbirds Directory doesn't give manufacturers construction numbers for most of the surviving Ducks.
