Here's something you don't see every day

It appears that there's a wildfire on Santa Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California and at least one air tanker is dropping retardant on it.I checked in on the restricted flight following sites and saw Tanker 11,which is one of Neptune Inc.'s P2V-7's,flying between San Bernardino (ex-Norton AFB) and Catalina.Leadlane 38V and two helitankers are also on scene.I can provide a link to the unrestricted flight following website's track for one of T11's trips today.

Anyone can check in on the firefighting fleet (at least those equipped with Windstream trackers) by going to:

http://oas.windstream.biz/

Then scroll down until the aircraft info appears. To see flight tracks, click on the aircraft ID number. To see the info sent by the tracking device, click on the time data.
