Here is most of the pictures I took of the P61. I was able to walk around the plane. My friend told me that an american, or other kind of laowon (foriegner) had offered a lot of money for it and was refused. The airplane is considered a national property, or a treasure, and will never be sold.

What model is she A, B or C? Unit she flew in?

Any serial # on this outside storage National Treasure?

When will she be flying at Legends?

IS the P-47 still right next to her? Model? Serial #?

I happen to know the person who made the offer and it was VERY substantial.

Perhaps an overture from the US Government, combined with a large sum would do the trick.

I'd love to see how original the inside looks. Too be bad it's at least not under an outside shelter. Going to be a large pile of rust in a few more years I'm afraid.
