This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I thought I'd update you guys on how things are going since our little winnie roast back on April 12th (which was my wife birthday BTW).
I finally got done doing going through the remains looking for any stuff mid week it really glad that's over with. I did find some photo CDs so if they're OK I'll have some pictures. We're moved in to our newly rented house and while it's nice it's just not home yet. Were working on that issue. My wife Julie developed pneumonia has a result of the smoke inhilation but is finally doing better and her burns are pretty much healer.
Presently working on replacing her needed medical equiptment. X-Warbird pilot now corporate pilot Jeff aka jcw (OK I'll take that back

)came by sunday with a bunch of good stuff for the house. It was good to see him even if he wasn't in his standard flying togs consisting of faded jeans, tennis shoes and a polo shirt.
I told Jeff and I'll tell all you folks. If it wasn't for our hospital family and our WIX family we'd really be sucking the hind end of some large animal right about now! You guys are the best, I owe you more that I can ever repay and if any of you ever have the need I WILL be there for you!!
One final note, I hope someone takes J-C Paul up on his offer of the P-40 ride. How cool would that be
Thanks again for everything friends!

Jack,
Glad to hear you and the family are doing better and that the WIX family was able to make a difference...after all, that's what family is for!

Jack...Although it's great that you're getting your s--t back together, there's still one more thing you have to prepare for...the dreaded

What P-40 ride offer?
John-Curtiss Paul offered a P-40 ride at their Warhawk Air Museum
for the highest bid over $1000. I'm still amazed at all the support
from you great bunch of people!

Just recently sent my manuscript to Squadron for "P-40 in Action". I've collected close to 400 P-40 shots....out of 15,525 and increasing daily.
So yes, I need a P-40 ride!
