Shuttleworth Evening Air Display 20th May (lots of pics)
Sun May 20, 2007 5:08 pm
Saturday saw the first Shuttleworth Collection Evening Air Display of the 2007 season, and it was almost perfect! The wind was a bit lively keeping the Edwardians firmly in the hangar but everything else flew. And the light was just about perfect for an evening display. Credit has to go to the engineers and ground staff for pushing pulling selling and organising and the pilots for mastering the “interesting” wind.
The Red Arrows performed a flypast after overflying the so called sporting event at Wembley.
Nice Beaver! (the coat!!!!)
Flour Bombing (spot the bomb!)
I think he cheated!
A couple of the Provost, the evening light made the most of the colour scheme (for a change)
Steve Atkins entertained a friend of mine there and the sent me a email that eveything went great. I never saw any blue sky like that when I was there.
