Just wanted to pop in (because I am WAY BEYOND excited) and tell everyone thank you for your good thoughts and support through this process. I just found out about a minute ago that I got into the flight school that I applied for!

Congratulations Steph!!! I am so glad you have been accepted and I wish you all the best in this, the start of one of the most important journeys of your life. Strive for all you can, network, and keep your eye on the goal and you'll do fine.
The finances will be a challenge, but it is manageable... don't let it get you down. Concentrate on your training and education and everything will work out. Let your passion and determination be your compass, not your bank statement... that's what Pell grants and Stafford loans are for.
Please let me know if I can be of any assistance in the financial aid process... I know it well and have folks here at our college that can give straight advice.

I am nervous about telling my boss, but he (of all people) will understand the importance of higher education, etc. Wow... oh my gosh, this is so unbelieveable to me!
