just q quick note to see if anyone has ever used T-6 rudder pedal assembly in a P-51D before. anyone know anything? is it possible, or just bits?

According to a note, and IIRC. in the upper lt. hand corner of the P-51 parts drawing, the same pedal was used on some AT-6's and B-25's. There are also some notes regarding what block numbers used them. So I would say the simple anwer would be a qualified yes...

I think the Pedals are the same but the hangar and pedal adjustment mechanism is different.

Cheers guys. Would it be possible to transplant the hangars as well as the pedals if using the t-6 adjusters etc? ie, Effectively just changing the bar the whole lot hangs on and fitting the middle casting from the 51?
