We just moved our newly restored MiG 29 Fulcrum from our Restoration Shop in Area B to the Cold War Gallery in the main museum complex this morning. The fighter looks real impressive. Been busy moving many planes all day in the Cold War Gallery. Not sure how long it will be until the guys get the MiG 29 to its final display area in the gallery. Just thought I would give everyone an update in case they would like to come over and see this Russian fighter in person.

Is that one of the ex-Moldovia airframes?

Yes, I beleve it is one of the 23 airframes the USAF bought from Moldovia in order to keep them out of Saddam's hands. Ours now has two Klimov RD-33 turbofan engines installed and the airframe is pretty much complete.
