Man, I don't know what to tell you. Oz is so far away. I just can't imagine though, that with the number of Warbird buffs there down under, that they would let this thing go to scrap.

I'm not suggesting that he should get it on his own, but fellow WIXer, Mark Pilkington, might have some contacts that could save the bird.

Have you seen the pics in one of the last issues of Air Classics of the leftovers from the restoration of the DC-3 Tico Belle? What they have leftover appears to include a lot of what yours is missing...

Yeah, I saw that, but didn't even think about the prospect of getting the parts to finish mine. Hmmm, interesting thought indeed. However, mine needs quite a bit to get it back in one piece. :?

It still bothers me that I didn't get there soon enough to save anymore of it than I did. :(
