Is that Chuck Greenhill's? I ran a FAA check and it's registered to someone in Lake Zurich, IL.

Last Year at OSH it won:
"Judges’ Choice: Fighter
Chuck Greenhill, Kenosha, WI, Hawker Sea Fury, (NX20MD)"

(from EAA Warbirds web site)

At least a few of those pictures on the Courtesy web site were taken at OSH last summer.

Here's a couple of pictures from Oshkosh last year ~

The first one is just your average shot with people hanging around an airplane. Taken with my camera perched on top of a monopod, with helps me look both ways to avoid taking pics as people walk into the frame !

The guy sitting on the wheel calls over " would you like me to move ? "

To which I replied ~ no they were fine ~ I can't expect people to just get out of my way ....

As you can see, not only did HE move, he made people back-up out of the way while I took this image !

I went over and thanked him and commented on what I thought was an the excellent choice for the restoration paint scheme, as it reflects the very colors worn when this aircraft served with the Royal Navy Historic Flight.

It was of course Chuck Greenhill himself that I found myself talking to !

What a great guy and what an ambassador for the warbird movement. :D

Can't compete with Tim's pictures, but here are a couple more pictures right after Brain Sanders landed and parked. Talked to him while he was securing the beauty, what a nice guy.

Small world, Eric. Those are my sandaled feet in your first pic. At least now you'll recognize me.

Anybody know who is buying the Sea Fury Southern Cross? It says sale pending on the site. That thing belongs flying around the pylons at Reno. I hope the new owner sees fit to race the airplane.

Wow that thing looks incredible and such a refreshing change from the normal paint schemes seen in the states.
