Ok?

isnt that a historical nose-art? or is it a play on the name of the bomb group?? Anyhow, if you are THAT politically correct then you probably shouldnt see any nose-art...

Apache Princess is historic nose art. However, Kermit had the face of the pin up changed to resemble his wife.

Have they opened up the far side of the airport yet? I know the hangars started construction some time ago.

Alright Joe, try it now!

He does fly the B-26 every once in a great while. This is an early short wing version so it is a little more to handle. I worked on a group of airframes from the same squadron. The one I worked on is now at MAPS, and looks great.

Are you saying I should not be allowed to see something? I hope not. Ira Hayes might put a "pox" on you ....but to elitists, he was just another Indian..who died drunk in a gutter.

Buffie,

When were your pics taken? The reason I ask is that a friend of mine got an AT-11 from Kermit and was flying it back to Chino when he lost an engine over Louisiana luckily made it to an airport and put her down safely. I was wondering if that was the aircraft.

Ryan - I took these on June 17th - just a week or so ago.
