This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Well, today I did my first newspaper interview since I'm helping my local stop coorindator on the Collings bomber tour. I feel the interview went rather well and the reporter was very enthused about the upcoming visit of the bombers. I also plugged WIX as he asked me how I know so much about warbirds. However, when he first arrived he thought he would be talking to a veteran and was surprised to find a 20 year old so interested in WWII and history.

Mike,
when they print the story, let us know if it was anything like you told them. I have been interviewed several times, and when I read the story I wondered if I was even there. very little matched the actual events.
