Couple questions about certain POF aircraft.

Tue Jul 24, 2007 9:27 am

I was wondering if anybody had any info about a couple of aircraft at POF.

1. How is the restoration on the Original Val going? Is there any photos.

2. What is the current situation with there replica Val? Does anybody know if they would possibly sell it? I don’t have the money but i wish i did. :D

3. What is going on with that Ryan Fireball that seems to always pop up in pictures taken at the facility? Is it going to fly? PLEASE SAY YES!

4. I've seen recently that POF plans on putting the Hispano 109 they used in Pearl Harbor back in the air. But what about the BF-109 out at the Arizona Facility? Is it slated for any work, or is it going to continue its extended vacation in the sunny state?

Any information would be appreciated.

You may want to check their website:

If it's not there, you can always send them an e-mail to ask.

For the right amount of money....anything is for sale :) It's currently in residence in Valle

I have not heard any plans to make her flyable - just a really good looking static display.

The restoration on the Hispano is moving along nicely. We built a nifty little jig to work on the wings. There has never been any talk of making the BF-109 flyable. I think it will continue to be a static display in Valle.
