The Hardwood Bombing Range open house is being held August 17th. The gates open at 8:00 a.m and close at 3:00 p.m. They tentively plan on having f-16's, UH-60 Blackhawks, and C-130 cargo drops. You can call (608) 427-1509 for more information. I plan on being there. Maybe we can have a little WIX get together.

Yah, it is kinda strange that they're doing it on a Friday. Just let me know. Hopefully other aircraft will show up too. The last time I went years ago it was a good time.

Sorry I didn't get to meet up with John, I got stuck being here in the office. Did they have the Civil War reenactors there this year? I remember in years past they had a lot of different aircraft come in and do their runs. Was it just F-16's that showed up this year?

They can handle the A-10's. I've seen them there a few times, and it was a cool experience to say the least.

It's open to the public all the time. They might be closed on occasion for "special" activities. You just have to call the phone number I listed in a previous post and they will tell you.
