Well, I have this part that I'm not quite sure on. It is marked BENDIX, 6110, 10-80640-1 B. I'm thinking that its some type of in line fuel filter or something. Click on the links to see the pictures. Anyone have any thoughts?

it is a ignition coil for a low tension ignition system. It mounts on top of a cylinder. Has 1 lead in from the mag, and 2 leads out to the spark plugs.

Is there any way to figure out what type of engine/plane it would have been used on?

it fit alot of different engines and planes. The Grumman C-1A and S-2, using R-1820s, and the Lockheed C-121, 749 Connies, using R-3350s are another that use them as well. It is a standard part, and any engine that used a low tension system could have used it.

Hey Matt;
Did you ever get all of your parts out of Wyoming? How's ol Miss Piggy (C-119) treating you? She going to be flying at any shows this year?

All the parts are here, but I am no longer working for Hans. Last job I did was to get the Invader and C-1A ferriable to Buckeye.
I am currently warbirdless.
