Airworthy Boxkite Replica for Point Cook

As reported in CW magazine, the RAAF restoration team of Ron Gretton and Geoff Matthews (Shorthorn/Demon/Walrus/Mosquito) have commenced construction of an airworthy 1914 Bristol Boxkite replica.

On the first of March 2014, it will be exactly 100 years since the very first military flight in Australia. Plans are well advanced to commemorate that centenary with the flight of a replica Boxkite.
