Airline History Museum DC-3 rolls out for the air show in KC

check out above the windows this dc-3 was a TWA bird deliverd in march of'41 and stayed with TWA through WWII and until '52. the paint is as she flew during the war. COOL YES!!!!!!

i rember the TWA bunch rebuilding that years ago 2002? and saw on webpages that it was a slow rebuild.. and NOW wow that nice nice nice great restoration they did very worthy bunch of people

What's the latest situation with their Connie? Is it back in the air again yet?

Are the Swiss and Australian one the only other examples presently airworthy?
