Galveston Co. Historical Society?
Col. Buebe's military shop at The Strand.
Any local photographers or photography shops that have been around for a while.
The LSFM, I would guess, too.
There is a structure on Highway 6, Hitchcock I believe, that goes back to WW-II, and housed a blimp.
Good luck,
Saludos,
Tulio

Col. Bubby's hmmm, I would be surprised if Meyer had any.
Tulio, Elroy is a volunteer at LSFM and can often be found hanging around the B-17 or B-25.
Galveston Historical Society or the Galveston newspaper, you know, the one at the end of the causeway.
I know there were P-47s there not sure what else. Seems like I saw some pictures in the terminal once.

Thanks Tulio & Rick!
I have some feelers out there. I just figured that there might be something out here on line.
If my memory serves me correctly Ive heard that during the war a U-boat was spotted of the Galveston coast and a B-25 went after it....but then again I could be mistaken.
Im looking for trainer a/c or base hack stuff...
