This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I haven't been on much lately but that didn't seem to keep people from pushing it!

I am talking about a few that seem to want to ruin this board and make it unpleasant for others. I also dont appreciate insulting pm's for reasons for posting about the L-39 crash. I am NOT sorry some of you felt that my post was wrong. I was only trying to pass along some sad news and all I get is that I was disrepectful to the family members!

Some of you take things WAY too personnal and need to grow up some. If you don't like the title of the post then DON'T READ IT! Some people need to stop pushing others around here like thay are the majority leader or something. Everyone on here should be equal and not made to look small or stupid.
The last couple months have been rough on WIX. So many arguments,so many heated debates, so many pointless bitching. I am fed up with it all and have descided to leave WIX. It's great to see WIX growing but unfortunately that also means the bad eggs will grow with it. Hopefully WIX can see threw the light and get by this bump in the road. But until some people start to act like mature adults around here I am out of here.
Regards,
Nathan

I'm sorry to see you go. I've been lucky enough not to have been the target of anything disrespectful.
I have certainly noticed disrespectful comments directed towards others, and wish people would simply accept others opinions instead of just their own.
At least the bickering has slowed a little bit lately.
I hope you can return, if and when hostilities subside.
Cheers,
David

Nathan,
I've known you off and on for the last I guess six or so years now. I appreciate your enthusiasm and diligence in different areas. I have to say that I think you're making a mistake in jumping ship. I've had some opinions at odds with various WIX members, but have been able to "survive" and intend to stick around for a while yet. Don't let folks get a burr under your hide. No matter where you are in life, you'll meet people that you have to LEARN to get along with. Sometimes you may never really enjoy being around them, but in order to participate in something, you have to be able to stuff your emotions and move on. It's really easy on the internet to convey something in an insensitive manner, and if you feel that your on the receiving end, it's easy to take offense over what may not really be a big deal.
I kind of agree with you but feel that you should take your own advise about growing up - stick around here and deal with it. Don't let your "bad eggs" win.

I think having a difference of opinion is fine, that should be encouraged in a proper way, as in not making it personal. But that is different then the outright jumping on a post to only make fun, belittle or mock someone. And then when the person takes offense, just tell them to lighten up, its all in good fun. That is what drives people away.
Bill.

Is it possible for the moderators of this board to read the PMs sent? Seems to me if their were PMs sent that did not conform to the rules of the board then those doing the sending ought to be doing the leaving as well. Just my .02 cents.

No, moderators cannot read other's PMs. I would suggest that anyone who gets a PM that they feel violates the rules bring it to Scott's attention.

Hey guys & gals I was just trying to rock Nate's boat. Man, we are just getting to fragile here. I do not want to see another one of our friends leave here, I guess I stepped on my--------with that one. Come everybody lets hang in there & get thru these trying times. SORRY NATE. No harm ment, I was not running my brain, I was looking out my navel.

Remember what I said, Nathan? One day you'll realize that your actions today define who you will become in your later life. Please rethink leaving on such an unhappy note. There are plenty of us who like and appreciate your postings. I can only think of a handfull of people here whose postings I look forward to; yours are on that list.
Please remember, the world isn't made up of good guys and bad guys. It's mostly just guys. Some of us have good days and bad days, but none of us really tries to be the bad guy. Well, Scott might, but that mowhawk doesn't quite get him there
Robby, it's not so much that everybody is being fragile, but rather some of us have been unfairly attacked more than once. Nathan is in that category for sure.

Come on man, not another one leaving.
Suck it up big guy. I enjoy everyone here, what I hate to see is someone kicking and having a fit like my kids and taking their ball and going home.
Stay, quit posting your leaving and suck it up.
