#77 is trying to get away from that ugly paint job!
White with purple or with gold was much nicer!
I also liked the original Miss America scheme and
the original Dago Red scheme!!!

It was a great race. I thought Mike Brown was going to stay in the lead, then he had to pull. Then Rare Bear having the stuck throttle at the end of the race.......glad he made it down okay.

Dago didn't race this year, I don't know about Strega.

Watch Warbird Aero Press for the best updates, it's a great site for racin'!

Once again, round rules the skies...

You know, I noticed something with the Reno Race results, those in-line engines are supposed to be SO good and fast, well why is it then that the top eight finishers in the gold race all had round engines? I'd almost have to say that when it really matters round is better. 8) Now if we can only talk Bill into converting his spitfire to a 3350, that would be cool! :D

I was extremely polite on AAFO by saying I don't like it, but your comments are closer to my real thoughts, which are even worse than I will say here. Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. It's simply awful.

I know Trey wants to crow about Rare Bear, but I want to crow about a Fury - Sea Hawk. Congratulations to Joe T on his second Silver win. Hey, you've gotta be able crow a little when you beat Howard Pardue. :)

Also, condolences to Stu Eberhardt. He was DQ'd on lap 4 for cutting a guide pylon. He had a good horse and it sucks to have your week end with a DQ.

Also, anyone have any more information (or pictures) on Thomas Camp's low-flying infraction that got him fined? I'm just wondering how much under the hard deck he was more than anything. Usually Race Control has given a warning in the pass to get off the hard deck and that's it, I don't remember seeing a fine posted for low flying in a while though, so it's got me intrigued.

I noticed on the RARA website today that Race 105 Spirit of Texas is listed at 3rd in the Gold race, not 5th as shown above- did something happen to change the standing.
