This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Here are some planes I saw while in Moscow 2 years ago, sorry about the photo quality, it was just before I went to digital so these are photos of photos. Next month I'm going back to get better photos which I will post. If I remember correctly they were a couple WWII planes that someone said were reproductions so I didn't take photos of them, I will correct that this time.
Maybe one of you can ID these, thanks
These are at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces

Great pics. I am fascinated by jets with glass house noses. I don't know why.

Is it that I am bias, or are russian aircraft the ugliest freakin things you have ever seen in your life?
Greaet photos!

hah! I always thought they were sort of pretty. Like a woman with an "interesting nose" you can't get out of your mind.

Well, there's an old saying. "If it's ugly, it's British (spitfire excluded). If it's weird, it's French. And if it's ugly AND weird, it's Russian."

I don't know what it is, but those airplanes in snow seems so appropriate.
Great pictures by the way.
