Being an artist I did the "what if" scenario and was wondering what it would have been like if i was around for the big 'Duyba Duyba' II.
I was wondering if i would have been utilized to paint any nose art or stuff like that but then again who knows? All in all very cool pic Jack.

Anyone notice that tiny solid rubber tail wheel tire?
Not the right one for ground ops but considering the
cr*ppy strips they were flying from appropiate.

That's standard Tom. They usually switched to pneumatic for land based ops. Anything but solid rubber wouldn't last on cut up PSP and rocks and all the other junk on the runway.

Am I missing something? The tailwheel of that Wildcat's not in the photo - that's a tail bumper or summat...
